We Are... Women of Valor

The Bible is a love letter and a manual to God's children. Why? Because if God didn't care about His creation, He would have left us without instruction and without a helper. This too is true for our understanding of who we are as women. We are fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God.

Together we study the Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit to gain wisdom, knowledge and understanding, to read about the women of the Bible that God marked as examples of His unfailing love, devotion, dedication, and design.

Join us as we share in the word and in our life experiences as daughters, sisters, wives, mothers, workers, and leaders. With God, We Are Women of Valor!

Martha and Mary of Bethany

Mary and Martha of Bethany are also known as the sisters of Lazarus. In this study we examine the faith response of these two sisters during a time of grief, tragedy, and loss. Faith takes them past the finish line to a revelation and a restoration. Join Women of Valor as we dive into John 11:1-44.

The Full Armor of God

We briefly visit the story of Zelophehad's daughters, defender's of their father's promise. Then we examine each piece of the armor of God and just how important it is to wear in our everyday lives. Join us as Women of Valor talk about God's protection and guidance.

Women of Valor review the life lessons provided through this biblical story and witness the hand of God providing love and completing a promise. Rebekah

Women of Valor spend time learning about the life of Rebekah, those that prayed over her, the lives she influenced, and the nations she bore. A woman who inquired of the Lord and made a decision that impacted history.

Deborah

This week we look at the life of Deborah, the only female Judge over Israel, as she held court under a palm tree in the mountains and led an army into battle.

Naomi & Ruth

Naomi and Ruth connected as in-laws, bonded by devotion, each a foreigner to each other’s land but redeemed by the love of God. This week we see a kindness and nobility rarely matched by others and worthy of its own book in the Bible. These women of valor battle against the odds and are forever recorded in the story of Jesus.

Miriam

The story of Miriam unfolds as we reflect on her courage, leadership, mistake and forgiveness.

Sarai, Sarah

Look at the life of Sarai, Sarah and her maid Hagar to find a closer understanding of the lives and sacrifices made as well as the examples that are there for us to follow as well as avoid.
